How Much Will My Appointment Cost?

At Ridgeway Women’s Clinic, we know how much women and their partners go through with an unplanned pregnancy. We want to support you in this journey with free and confidential services and appointments.

How Do I Know I’m Pregnant?

Sometimes women experience many pregnancy symptoms, and sometimes not many at all. The one pregnancy symptom that all women experience when pregnant is a missed period. According to the Mayo Clinic, common pregnancy symptoms include:

  • Tender breasts
  • Nausea with or without vomiting
  • Fatigue
  • Mood swings
  • Increased urination
Though home pregnancy tests are almost always accurate, confirm your pregnancy with a lab-quality pregnancy test and an ultrasound to be sure. We offer both of these pregnancy services at our clinic, at no cost to you.

Do I Need an Ultrasound?

Ultrasounds are an important step in the pregnancy confirmation process! An ultrasound allows you to find out more about your pregnancy. An ultrasound reveals three key facts about your pregnancy, including:

  1. If you have a viable pregnancy (A healthy & growing pregnancy)
  2. How far along you are (gestational age)
  3. The location of your pregnancy (if it’s growing within your uterus or not)
At Ridgeway Women’s Clinic, we can provide you with an on-site, free limited ultrasound.

When Should I Take a Pregnancy Test?

The best time to take a pregnancy test is at least one week after your missed period. Why do you have to wait that long? Waiting at least a week lets your body produce a detectable amount of the hCG pregnancy hormone if you are pregnant.

At Ridgeway Women’s Clinic, we can provide you with an on-site, free pregnancy test.
