Facing an unexpected pregnancy is a lot to take in. You might be hearing different opinions from people around you, scrolling through information online, or trying to sort through your feelings on your own. Before making any decision, talking with a medical professional who puts your health and your questions first can make a real difference.
At Ridgeway Women’s Clinic, our patient care team is here to support you. Appointments are free and confidential. Schedule yours today.
You Don’t Have to Have It All Figured Out
You don’t need to walk in with all the answers. Our compassionate patient care team is here to listen, answer your questions, and give you the space to think through your situation without pressure or judgment.
Whether you’re interested in a Pre-Abortion Evaluation, an Options Consultation, or a Pregnancy Confirmation appointment, the visit is focused on you and what you need. This is your decision, and our role is to make sure you have the information to make it.
Getting the Full Picture on Your Pregnancy
Before considering any option, it helps to know the basics about your pregnancy. When you come in, a nurse will meet with you, complete an assessment, and provide a pregnancy test. If your test comes back positive, an ultrasound is offered the same day.
The ultrasound confirms how far along you are, whether the pregnancy is in the uterus and not ectopic, and confirms viability by detecting a fetal heartbeat. This information is important for your health and can affect what options are available to you. Please note that while the clinic can share what the ultrasound shows, it cannot provide a formal diagnosis.
STI testing is also available during your visit if your pregnancy test is positive. This is not a standalone service, but it can be included in your appointment.
Knowing All Your Options
You deserve to know about all your options before making a decision. During your visit, our patient care team will go over what abortion, adoption, and parenting may involve, so you are not left guessing.
This conversation is based on medical information and your personal situation. We want you to feel informed and supported as you consider what is best for you.
Take the Next Step
You don’t have to sort through everything on your own. Having a conversation with a knowledgeable, caring team can help you get the answers you need and feel more prepared for what comes next.
